We catch up with Clive Wilsdon who recently joined the Acoustic Demolition team as Estimating Director. Find out more about Clive in this short interview.
What’s your background?
I have over 20 years in demolition, fulfilling a number of different roles, from estimating to project management.
What strengths would you say you bring to the Acoustic Demolition team?
Probably the ability to understand client/project requirements. Appreciating the importance of planning and executing at the same time as having the ability and agility to adapt should situations change.
All the projects that went well, some of them are more problematic than others but fortunately they all work out OK in the end, it’s just that some are more enjoyable than others.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I’m an adrenaline junkie so anything that give that extra boost of energy. At the weekends and on holiday you’ll find me mountain biking, waterskiing or wakesurfing.
What’s your least favourite part of the job?
Obviously when things go wrong, I hate it when the customer is unhappy. Thankfully that doesn’t happen too often.
